Addie has big talent, a strong spirit and loves to sing. In February 2016, she was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia and referred immediately to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.® She responded well to chemotherapy treatments and was home that summer. She returned to school and was named to the homecoming court.
Since then, Addie has continued to sing in front of audiences large and small, including performing the national anthem at numerous sporting events. Another highlight of her musical career was when she was featured in Brad Paisley’s song, “Alive Right Now” and had the opportunity to sing on stage with the Country Music sensation. Addie is a junior majoring in integrated marketing communications at the University of Mississippi and has been cancer free for five years and returns annually to St. Jude for check-ups.

Today, more than 100 of America’s most recognized brands partner with St. Jude to drive critical funds and awareness for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude. More than 1,600 companies participate in the Workplace Giving program.

Six years ago, at 32 years old, Lindsay was facing terminal Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 4B.
